Question

RV Furnace Not Lighting

I'm having trouble lighting my '86 Suburban Dynatrail Propane Furnace. When I try and turn it on, all that happens is the fan starts blowing and a spark flashes behind the burner access door. The propane is full and on as is the manual shut off valve. Could it be my solenoid valve inside, and how do I check it?

I appreciate any help anyone can offer.

Spiders love propane check all the supply gas lines to make sure some hairy little creatures didn't move in. TIP< in the Winter when you close up the RV take a couple cups of mothballs and put one in each compartment , hot water heater, heater, refrigerator. They will not go near it.

PS> Near each burner.

You use moth balls in a RV and you will regret it for years to come......

Propane is extremely flammable and very dangerous to a untrained person. Turn off the LP at the source (the tanks) then carefully remove the pilot assembly and throughly clean it. after that if it still does not not light then have a professional look at.

Been Rving for 40 years, do not put moth balls inside the Rv you put them outside at the gas burners in the vent compartments. Learned that trick many years ago from RV Seminar. If you an RVer you know what I am talking about.

You can really live in some of those trailers. One of my customers runs a trailer/RV store and says they have washers and dryers etc. Bigger than my first apt.

I wonder how much dope you can grow in one of them. LOL. We just had a house with 1500 plants in it busted the other day. $500,000 house in a nice area.

Our favorite dope growin/smokin Canadian boys ( The Trailer Park Boys ) set up shop in one of the silver oven lookin jobs on one of the shows.

Rock On
