Hey friends, I have a problem with my Ruud 90 series furnace. The model number is UGEB-19EE-GS.
The problem is that the furnace calls for heat and the only thing that happens is the blower motor comes on. Normally, the draft inducer motor will come on first then it will go through its normal sequence.
I can shut off power at the breaker panel, turn back on and the furnace will sometime work correctly.
Does anybody have an idea? Thank-you
Could be 2 or 3 things: bad board, bad inducer, bad electrical connections. If you have a volt meter- something that will read ac voltage not a wall tester, check for voltage at the inducer molex plug coming for the board. If you don't have voltage the board is bad if you do the inducer is bad, at least typically.
