Round duct insulation, retrofit

Question:

I realize that there are insulated sleeves that can be placed around round sheetmetal duct but are there any products that are more suitable for retrofit applications so that the duct system does not need to be disassembled? Can the sleeves simply be cut along their length, wrapped around the duct and then foil taped?

Thanks in advance!
Jimmy

Afraid not. but you can buy wrap and wrap the insulation around it.
