Room Thermostat

Hi everyone,

I am new to the forum and I live in Arizona where it is hot as Hell.

I am seeking advise about brands of programmable room thermostats that give control ranges above 45C for cooling or that will switch off for a period during the day.

Alternatively is it possible to wire in a resistor to shift the range (generically speaking)?

Thanks (in advance)

Anthony

Room Thermostat

I have this room at the back of the house that is like a greenhouse, in as much as it has windows entirely along three of its sides, it gets sun all day, and heats up to 110+, but cools down at night. I want the A/C to kick in in the evening and turn off mid morning.
