rooftop 2 stage poor sparks


Confirm that the pilot/cross over is lighting. Then check to make sure the main burner terminal on the gas valve is getting 24 volts. If both of those check out. Connect a manometer to the manifold side of the gas valve and see if you are getting gas pressure to the manifold.

rooftop 2 stage poor sparks


I investigated the unit a bit more with my inspection mirror. The spark is very strong...but wont fire at first nor second trial. FIRST STAGE

Check for an obstruction in the orifice of the cross over.
