Riello oil burner won't start sometimes

I have a Riello oil burner and last winter it intermittently did not automatically start. When I hit the reset button it kicks in fine. It DOES work fine about 85% of the time, but it certainly is annoying when you need hot water and you have to wait 15 minutes for it to heat up. What could be the problem, and could I fix it myself? Thanks

I am a Riello certified Oil Burner tech - retired, Last year, I had the same problem Finally found out all I had to do was tighten the circuit board in the burner control. BE careful..just tighten screws snugly and a bit.
