Rheem RGAA 100A furnace blower continues to short cycle

Furnace blowers turn off after 30 seconds and burners continue for 10 sec. Full flame when on. Replaced motor about 3 years ago. Filter clean. Temperature never attains to desired degree.

Replaced thermostat and still had the problem. Removed the filter and blowers have stayed on and furnace is heating up and working properly. Am checking filter types and direction of reinstallation of filter.

Yup, A temp rise test of the furnace and comparing it with what's listed on the furnace rating plate will show you what filter it can take and what filter might harm your furnace. You can Google how to do it.
A static pressure test can also tell you what's what but requires more equipment than just a thermometer..

So far, have had to replace a fuse at the switch where the furnace plugs in and purchased very cheap filters. The blower quit working today. Think the filters suffocated the blower and killed it. Will have to replace the motor more than likely. I have an HVAC friend looking at it now. Thanks for all the input.
