Rheem No 120VAC Igniter Help

Unit: Rheem Criterion II HVAC

Hello. For a while now, our heater does not work. The induction motor starts, but the igniter never glows (like our other Rheem Criterion II does), nor does the gas start flowing. From what I understand (which is limited), this is the general order of proper operation.

1) thermostat sends signal for heat
2) Induction motor starts
3) Pressure switch checks for sufficient pressure
4) Igniter starts about 30 s later (glowing red-orange brightly)
5) Gas lines open
6) Ignition
7) Main fan starts to circulate hot air around house
8) Igniter subsides (leaving only blue glow from gas burning)

Here's what I've done so far:

Checked igniter lines: The line never receives 120 VAC. It remains 0 VAC always.
Checked pressure switch: It is clean, and a continuity test revealed that it does close while the unit is operating.
Checked for broken wires: All lines report 0 ohms resistance, concluded good wiring.

I'm wondering what to do next. I'm left thinking that either the motherboard has gone bad, or that there is another piece to the ignition sequence that I am oblivious to. Is there another part that reports back to the motherboard before the igniter is given the signal to start?

Any suggestions on what to do next is most welcome. As a last resort, we can always call a professional.

Rheem No 120VAC Igniter Help

Does your furnace board have a diagnostic light/lights to give you a starting point. Most boards will have a light that will blink a series of blinks to indicate different faults.

Rheem No 120VAC Igniter Help

Sorry for the delay. I checked the board, there are 3 LEDs. 2 green and 1 red. The two green will light steady until the point where the gas should light. When it doesn't light, the entire unit turns off and only one green LED (the topmost) stays on. None of them flash or blink at any point.

I must say though, that after having the unit disconnected for several days, that now the igniter does get the 120VAC and glows bright red-orange. The gas never starts and the entire unit turns off shortly afterwards, but at least now the igniter is getting the juice.

I know that the unit checks for sufficient pressure (a la pressure switch), but are there any other conditions that must be met before the unit starts the gas flowing? Perhaps a temperature sensor for the igniter or some other sensors? Thank you for your help.
