Rheem Gas valve Click but Don't open the gas

Old Rheem model RRGG-05N30JKR. when start, ignator fires up the pilot and turn it on. Wait for about 20-30 Sec, then Valve Clicks but unfortunately gas doesn't flow and furnace doesn't turning on. Any Idea?

Rheem Gas valve Click but Don't open the gas

There has to be a proving system to verify that the pilot is lit before the main gas will turn on. Usually a rectifyer in the pilot flame. Does it need to be cleaned with steel wool or replaced?
Is the pilot flame large enough to envelope the sensor?

The next step is seeing if the gas valve is receiving 24 V and not firing up as carmon says..

Don't LOL , been to two houses this month....one fully shut...the other closed enough to lower the gas pressure but the furnace still worked-found that during maintenance checking gas pressures.

Rheem Gas valve Click but Don't open the gas

It is open. I know. They use gas stove and the pilot is powerful. I open and close the supply valve myself.

You have to be very percise. There are two solenoid valves on the gas valve. If the pilot does come on and whatever is used to tell the gas valve to open actually tells the valve to open and then you hear the click, well thats a bad gas valve. You cannot repair a gas valve.
so if checking the voltage shows you 24volts after the pilot comes on,you have voltage and no gas= bad gas valve. You shyouldn't have 24v until after the pilot comes on.
