rheem furnace problem

my furnace is not working and it seemed to not be getting power. I replaced the transformer and cleaned it up, changed the filter. it came back on but runs very high and overheats to the point it blew a fuse. what would be the next step to finding the problem

rheem furnace problem

find the short that is causing this. Start looking the wires between furnace and thermostat.

**Always kill the power ** Hot air rises, but heat will always move from higher to lower temperatures. ** Real man shoot in manual. ** If it ain't grounded, it ain't dead.

Check blower capacitor, it may be weak and running the blower backwards.
