Rheem Furnace needs parts or replacement?

Hi yesterday I was working under the house went for lunch and when I came back smelled gas. Heard the gas valve open yet there was no flame. Turned off power and the valve shut. Powered up and it operated normally. Had a HVAC guy come out and test stuff told me all the electrical tested out well. So I went and took off some of the sheet metal today to see if there was something else wrong and found that a few of the rods that go over the burners were gone. I am not sure if this is what caused the problem but I know it has to be addressed. I am including a pic. If anyone knows if these are a wear item that can be replaced or is it time for a new furnace. In the picture one rod is protruding out of a holder and the one on the left is gone.

We need some more and better pictures with more light and detail and a wider angle pic with all the burners .

How long did you hear the gas on with no flame? If more then a second or two then you have a serious problem, probably control board.
