Rheem Criterion Filter

I have a Rheem Criterion II furnace. At the bottom, there is a permanent filter. It's a wire mesh that is surrounded by an aluminum frame. The filter is 16"x12" and is about 3/8" thick. I clean it regularly and after more than a decade of cleaning the frame is falling apart and both filters need to be replaced.

I have searched the internet without success. Does anyone know the part number and a dealer source where I can purchase some new filters?

Thanks in advance

I'd remove it and take it to a HVAC supply house to match it up.
If you just Google the make and model and look around you should be able to find a parts break down.

You may have to pay a little more, but if you call any dealership they should be able to order it for you.

Thank you,

I live is San Diego. It was in the house when I bought it and I have no idea who installed it. I figured there would be some place on the internet to order one but I couldn't find anything.

How can I find a part number. I did try to search online for a parts list with no success. The online manuals are of no assistance.
