return air vent

We bought a brand new house, and it is in Tn, and there is alot of clay dirt in this State. One thing we dont understand is how the entire house gets this clay dirt dust all over it, and we are changing the filters on the return air vent once a week, and it is loaded. We have NEVER had a problem like this in any other house we lived in . the bulder sent over his air condtioning service man, and he said, there is nothing wrong with this..

return air vent

The house isn't built very tight.
Or there is a leak in the return duct, and it is pulling in the dust and spreading it through the house.
