excellent! thanks! so the cool down is always with HI speed. that's exactly what I need.

Now where can I get me some of these relays in Montreal, Canada! eh!

im looking on the Honeywell web site...there are quite a few R8222D relays...

which is the correct one?

You want the R822D that is a 24 volt coil. double pole double throw.

Retrofit furnace fan rewiring - help


the ones from Honeywell have 24VAC coil rating...fine!

But some say "12 VA General Purpose Relay with DPDT switching action" and others say "Gen. Purpose Relay W.DPDT Switching" but their both 24V coil... is there a difference?

Retrofit furnace fan rewiring - help


Both the R8222D-1014, and the R8222D-1006 have 12 amp at 120 volt contact rating. So which ever you get will work.
