Replacement of duct work

I have a mobilehome a double wide that has the ductboard runs under it. The issue is that the critters have got in and made a mess I'm looking to replace it with a main run down the center and branch off picking up two floor vents on each branch one other issue is towards the end of the run air flow falls off. What would be a good size to start the main run and what would be a good size for the branch off's. I know there are other factors involved but I'm trying to get a general idea of where to start.

No way to guess. Would need to know what size equipment you have(A/C and heat). And what size rooms are. Or you could end up with as poor of an air flow as you already have.

This is what is in now
A 3 ton unit outside w/ heat pump
Duct is the ductboard 16x8 runs about half way then drops down to 12 wide
Just a standard air handler inside with the electric heat strips
The house is 30 x 56

16x8 is almost ok for 2 tons.

24x8 would be better. Then the 12 changed to 18x8
