Replaced Control Board, Fan Still Will Not Shut Off

Hello,
I replaced the control board on my Lennox gas furnace with an OEM White-Rodgers D341122PO1. This was based on everything I have read that indicates this would solve the problem of the fan not shutting off regardless of thermostat setting. BUT....the fan still runs non-stop.
The LED is giving me the "single slow flash" indicating that there are no trouble conditions detected.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Check the G terminal to see if it is powered. You are looking for 24v.

Possible stat wire cold be shorted to power. Check the fan mtr wiring to make sure that it is not not hooked to a hot, unswitched power supply.

remove the stat off the wall.... still running? pull the G off the board in the furnace still running...? someting within the furnace or on the board.if it shuts off pulling the furnace G the drop from the stat is touching R...R to G is constant fan

I will check the voltage.
Fan will shut off if I disconnect the thermostat wiring. I am wondering if the tstat wire has a drywall screw through it somewhere?
Could be the cause maybe?

if the stat is of the subbase, and you diconnected just the G wire into the furnace and it went off ....the stat drop is making fan running R to G.if your jammed for heat and have a spare wire..if not use the YELLOW/Y for now(no ac till the spring) flip it at both ends. tape the GREEN/G at both ends might have R/HOT touching
