relocating bi-directional driers?

Hi all,
If I was to install bi-directional drier on the outside of the unit to make it more serviceable. What would be the possible issues about relocating it if any?
Should I try keeping it the same height as it was before or, would the service valve height be fine?
Also when changing manufacturer drier location does it alter performance or any other properties on a heat-pump?

Thank You,
