Refrigerant hose ruptured!

Hi all
After buying a second hand portable split to replace my broken old one, when moving it onto position I heard a crack and all the refrigerant leaked out.
It turns out that the high pressure copper line had a tight king in it and just snapped, and leaked all the refrigerant out. This happened underneath the plastic cord.

The line has snapped right at the union:

2 questions, Can I braze it back, and how do I go about recharging a portable AC unit? It uses R407C.
Thanks in advance!

Probably can be brazed back together. Would need to see the part that is still in the black cover.

Need a vacuum machine to vacuum the system after fixing the line. And then a set of manifolds, and of course, a tank of R407C. Then an accurate scale to weigh it in.

The part thats in the black cover is just the quick connect valve and a conical piece of copper that goes from the large valve down to the small pipe.

Im pretty sure there are no recharge ports for this AC, can the recharge be done via the quick connect ports?

Is this something a mobile AC tech will likely do?

Will need schrader fittings.

Doubt a mobile(609) tech will do it. But could be wrong.

Many thanks.

I will have to call around. It would be a shame to have to throw away a perfectly good unit just because of a leak!
