The burner has gone out on our Rheem furnace, which is over 15 years old. I'm looking for brand recommendations, etc. I want high efficiency, quiet, variable speed. Plan on replacing a/c at same time. Currently also have heat pump, which I would like to keep if possible but will replace if necessary. Want electronic air filter and humidifer. Can any of you help me with some reommendations?

Wow i cant believe nobody will help. So i will. American Standard. They make a excellent furnace and a excellent electronic aircleaner.(Zaps dust) You can actually here it. Finally Rheem does make a excellent furnace. Unfortunately those kinds of furnances don't last aslong as hot water boilers. Example my house has hotwater heat the furnace is original to the house and house was built in 63. My plumber says its still going strong. So my recomendation is american standard or rheem. 15 years is about rite for replacement on what your talking about.
