recommend Heat only programmable thermostat?

Hi,
Can anyone recommend a good heat only programmable thermostat?
I need to replace my old mercury thermostats and not sure what I should look at. Thanks!

Honeywell Pro 6000 is a good start, Visionpro 8000 is the Rolls Royce.

Anytime. I like the touch screen on the 8000, that's what I have in my own house.

Yes they are. You use two wires, one on the R (Rh) terminal and the other on W. The new stats will have the same designations. The biggest thing is programming options, just read the menu in the install guide and go one step at a time. It is easier than it looks, just read the booklet.

They might be not 'heat only' thermostats, in that they have logic to activate cooling, but if you don't connect the cooling terminal, the 'stat will essentially be heat-only. And so, about any modern programmable unit will do.

The programming in the tstat will make it "heat" only. If you aren't familiar with the item, why comment? Check out the thermostats at http://www.hotfreshcool.com/index.html The focus pro is a good choice.
