New guy here.
This looks like a good site to get some of my questions answered.
We have a radon problem in our basement, level is 12-13.
I plan to install the system in the sump pit.
I can run it out the side of the house and up the wall, but am afraid it won't look good.
My other option is to run the pipe the length of the basement and up through the attached garage roof.
My questions are:
1. How long of a run can I make, it's about a 50' run in the basement then another 30' to get in the garage attic and through the roof. I thought of running 4" in the basement then reduce to 3" where it exits to the garage
2. I planned on going through the roof with the pipe. But then thought:
The garage attic has a continuous ridge vent, can I terminate the pipe close to the ridge vent and let the fan blow the radon out the vent. I think I already know the answer to this question, but had to ask anyway.
