Radiant heat plumbing

I am going to install a radiant floor heating zone on my 6 zone baseboard and radiator system. All of the piping diagrams that I have seen show the circulator pump installed after the mixing valve. My current set-up would make this difficult to do. Can I have my circulator pump installed before (upstream) the mixing valve?
