Radiant Ceiling heat from 1960's
Our home built in 1960 has the coils of wire radiant ceiling heat. All of them work o.k., but the dining room ceiling seems to get physically warm to the touch. All our other ceilings don't get warm to the touch but heat the rooms. Is it normal for this type of radiant ceiling heat to make the ceiling physically warm?? Thanks in advance for any help. :)

check for air vents that allow the heat to move out into the room...might be blocked does it heat the dining room

The one's that I've seen were just wires on top of the drywall so yes the ceiling got warm.
