Questions about high velocity air?

I recently saw something on DIY channel and they were installing a "high velocity" air conditioner.

What is this about?

I'm looking to get a new air handler and heat pump for my 2500sq. ft. house in Florida and thought I'd like to learn about this setup.

I know this is a rather old post - but I have a Unico Air Conditioning system installed in our home. If you have questions about its operation just ask.

If he already has a conventional system.
No use ripping out all his duct work. And removing all his existing supplies.
And running everything new.

A VS blower, can give him the same humidity control as a HV system.

slow down beenthere - I'm just willing to answer questions about our install. Not suggesting that anyone rip out their current duct work and switch.
