Question on Furnace Filter and Humidity Application - Help?

Kind od related....

Our home air is very dry after heating during winter.

Does anybody manufacture a drop-in filter that also humidifies air? (answering my own question) It might not be practical,as the furnace would remove any injected humidity.

So, is there a way/device to retrofit (post-furnace) into the HVAC chain to get some moisture back into a heated house?

Or is the best solution to use standalone room humidifiers?

Buy yourself a bypass humidifier at one of the big box hardware stores. Easy to install and maintain.
