question

icyhot, I'm not a contractor (I am a sub contractor with my own DBA) but I've been in the trade for 12 years, coming from the install side from 10 of those years to now service. I still have a lot to learn and see. I did go to hvac schoOl last year as well, it helped greatly.

Luckily for myself I can and do call my old bosses and the senior tech (32 years in the field) at my newest company whenever I need help johnny on the spot as in I'm at the job and need help right then, immediately.

I hope you are working for a company that has a senior tech you can call and not doing sidework if you are not that experienced and confident yet. Most companies have no problems having you call the senior guys, that's why they're there.

You can also get a list of all of your local dealer supply houses, they have technical support to call for each brand but you'll need to be working for an hvac company. They will ask and verify.

GOod luck, bud.

Some of those guys are simply awesome. Others, not so much. Good site, terrible leadership.
