proper venting install[plastic]


OK, first time asking ,
90% furnace one story home exhaust[plastic] runs out of furnace down to crawspace [under floor and furnace] and out side of home.
we good with this or would there be a back pressure?
no manufacturer instuctions, Thanks

what brand of furnace....few can be vented down.....

Thanks for the reply's, no picture and will ask about brand name, I got a phone call about this and I'm just trying to put facts to it, i'm looking for a book with some help, National fuel gas. has exit terminals of mechanical draft/direct vent , 12 inch minimum,from grade, thats all I can find at this time, THANKS AGAIN

proper venting install[plastic]


Trane allows the vent to run down. Has special instructions for it. But only applies to Trane. Other brands may not have approval.
