Proper Tape for Holding Reflectix

I am trying to insulate my garage door so my 12K btu a/c will keep up. I have applied Reflectix foil insulation using carpet tape. It has plenty of grip until it heats up...then it gets very gooey and the insulation sags. A couple of sections have fallen off completly.

What type of tape or adhesive would give me a better bond that would hold up to the 100 degree plus metal surface? I'd like to have some chance of removing it at some point.

Peace,
Mark

Proper Tape for Holding Reflectix

I used mounting tape from 3M. Then taped all the edges with foil tape. It's buttoned up tightly now.
