Proper condenser fan motor replacement

Hello again ... I thought I was finished asking questions, but here are a couple more.

An online vendor recommended an Emerson 7232 motor to replace the one in my unit. They said they couldn't get the MOT02642, but the specs on the Emerson 7232 match.

Any thoughts on the Emerson 7232? I saw that the mount on the Emerson motor was hub ring. I have a belly band mount in my unit. Would that be a problem?

Thanks again!!
Gary

We have confirmed that the MOT02642 are readily available at the factory - I'd suggest another vendor or secure one locally thru a Trane or American Standard Dealer? This OEM Motor is pricey. The resilient mounts are often standard on blower wheel , at a 48 frame most likely it can work with a belly band no problem. Make sure Amp Rating and SF - Service Factor are correct for your application with the MOT07232.

I was able to find the MOT02642 motor from several vendors online. Even the vendor who told me it was not available found the motor after I told them I wasn't interested in the Emerson motor. Ironically, they ended up having the lowest price once they located the motor.
