What is the correct pressure on the low side and high side gauges when a 410a system is functioning properly?

There are several other factors to answer this question.

**Always kill the power ** Hot air rises, but heat will always move from higher to lower temperatures. ** Real man shoot in manual. ** If it ain't grounded, it ain't dead.

As JJBoy said, there is no one right answer. The low side pressures for that system would range betwen 100 and 160, and the high side between 225 and 550. Note those are VERY rough estimates - a system operating outside of those ranges could be correct, depending on other factors. Also note that valid pressures are only really applicible in a system that is otherwise operating correctly - for example, if the condenser coil is clogged, you must clean that properly first.

Some units have a chart to tell you what the high and low pressures should be, based on several other factors (outdoor/indoor dry bulb temp, outdoor/indoor wet bulb temp, low/high ref line temp, etc). If you can find that, and get accurate readings for the base factors, you could determine what pressure you should read.
