Is it possible to replace this radiator?

I have a very old and heavy radiator. The situation is complicated by the fact that heating in my condo is not controllable, instead the heating of the ENTIRE condo complex is interlinked. I attached pictures for better analysis. Is this radiator replaceable and if so, how complex would it be.

dont know why you want to "change" it but you seem to have a single pipe steam system, shut off the valve to the radiator, wait for a heating cycle to be sure radiator remains cold, then get a BIG pipe wrench and there is a large nut close to the radiator unscrew it, pull radiator and it is out. Also noticed the can under the vent, if you are getting water out of it then radiator is NOT draining back thru return, that valve is replaceable, it unscrews just be careful NOT to break it off. If that is the problem then leave main valve ON, unscrew the vent, if you hear air rush into radiator then your leak is solved just buy a NEW vent.

Danfoss makes control valves that work well with one pipe steam. You would have to add one to each radiator but they work by temperature to open and close as the room heats and cools.
