Poor flow of cold air

Hi all,

I'm trying to repair a York air con which has been blowing not so cold air. I've checked the pressure of coolant and it's 130 psi. I'm not sure what it is supposed to be as it is an older unit and my tech lit on it is long gone. Is this necessarily a coolant problem, or could the vents be blocked somehow?

Thanks for any help

make sure the coil inside is clean both sides, filter is clean squirrel cages are clean..in fan section...130PSI seems like r-22 what is the temp around the condenser out side whil it is running...and i take it that was the thin copper line out on the condeser you hooked up guages...sounds short.don't add any fron till the air side is checked inside....seeing any ice on th insulated line at the air handler or out on the condenser insulated line going in?check the condenser info tag for actual freon.do you have freon to charge it.the fan speed should be HI in cooling or the same as if you shut the system at the stat and do FAN/ON...

If it is R22, 130 is not right for either low or high side pressure. Better call a tech to check the charge.

130 psi means the compressor is not running the fan may be but not the compressor.
