plumbing geothermal to buffer tank

can anyone shoot me a diagram and parts needed to plumb a geothermal with a desupperheater to a buffer tank that is not wired and is in line with wired hot water heater? Just need somewhere to start here!

I am a DIYer and am pretty good with things! the geothermal will heat the house, but this summer when I turned on the ac mode it ran for 1/2 hour then said call for help! I suspect that was because the desuperheater had no where to dump the hot water.

All help and suggestions will be greatly appreciated!
