Plenum - Where to buy?

zootjeff Member   Join Date: Jul 2007 Posts: 377	Plenum - Where to buy? I have a 30 year old 26.5"W x 26.5"W x 32"H Plenum Base supporting furnace assy. It touches concrete and dirt. Rusting Away. Where can I as a home owner, source replacement prefabbed plenum chassis? I was going to put in an evaporator while I was at it. I can find places to sell me those, but I can't seem to find a supplier of plenum that will sell to a random homeowner. I could build the whole thing out of z channel and flat sheet metal, but there is a better way right? Plenums like you are asking about are made for a specific installation by a sheetmetal shop, look for a fabricator in your area, I don't think they mind selling to homeowners. Cash is king.
