Please respond to my post!
I posted the following yesterday...

I have a Carrier furnace that will not turn off automatically.

The only way I can get it to stop is to turn it off manually.

What could the problem be?

I haven't seen any replies...I'm a dummy and you all are experts...I really need your help!

Thank you in advance!

Perhaps it's the thermostat. I don't claim to be an HVAC expert but I would first start with a check to see if the thermostat was set properly and if the shutoff temp had actually been reached. Some of the new programmable thermostats have so many features they can get confusing. Then I'd get out my multimeter and start checking the low voltage system to see where the failure was occurring.

Go here: , select "heating", and follow the flow chart.
