Please Help -- What Are The Warning Signs That An Oil Furnace Is On The Fritz?

Hi Everyone,

I'm new to the site, but I'm doing some research into some warning signs that an heating oil system might be on the fritz.

I was wondering if anyone here had some tips for me to go on?

Thanks for the help.

Get it professionally tuned up with a combustion analyzer. The heat exchanger can crack and oil can produce CO, Carbon monoxide like a gas furnace. It will burn lots more oil if not setup properly.
