Pilot light will not stay lit

The standing pilot light in my York gas furnace will not stay lit. I've already changed the thermocouple. Any other suggestions?

As long as you installed the thermocouple correctly, then you probably have a bad gas valve. By the way, thank you for not calling it a thermocoupler, or thermocoupling, that drives me crazy .

Thanks. I've since had it looked at by an hvac technician and they will be replacing the valve. Hopefully that is all that it needs - the furnace is 20 years old, I've never had a problem with it, just need it to last this winter!
