pilot light trouble, where to buy parts??

it's a COZY WORLD propane wall unit, usually I have to clean it out a couple time a season but think'n this year I'm gonna have to replace some parts but cant find them.

Local dealer wont sell them because I aint on of HIS customers, claims its a liability issue but said this after he found out I didnt buy my gas from him.

Whats happen'n is the pilot light is look'n kinda lazy,is about a inch & a half longer than it should be, has a white tip & goes out , ok...no biggie, fix this all the time, so I took it apart & cleaned it out & put it back together,... a half hour later it goes back out...repeat cleaning process again, burns ok but still lazy & white tipped flame, goes out another time or two over the next 4 hours.

During my repair/inspection I notice small cracks in teh metal cabinet that holds the ceramic plates in place also a small piece of ceramic had chipped out & fell into the bottom of heater.

Should I replace the whole unit or just the parts...if I can find them ???

Thanx in advance.
