Pilot light goes out
Hey all,
The last couple of mornings I'm waking up to a freezing cold house and a gas heater with a pilot light that is out. Non of the other gas appliances have lost their pilot so it's not a gas problem. I'm new to gas, is this normal or the symptom of a problem? Thanks |

Pilot light goes out
It is not normal and is a problem. Could have a bad thermocouple or dirty pilot burner etc etc. Post a pic of the unit and brand and model # to get more help.

Pilot light goes out
Thanks, but I'm going to call a pro. I'm not comfortable with gas and it's a rental. I'll fallow up to sales you know what the problem was. Thanks again.

Pilot light goes out
There was a small crack in the box that allowed some of the air to get the combustion chamber and blow out the pilot light. When the gas cycled off the flame left and the coupling closed.
Hanks guys ... Now we all know and I have a new heater. |
