payne furnace prob
after turning on the heat the furnace combustion box overheats causing manual limit switch to go off . i have the heat set to 66 degree however it only gets to 58 degrees. the furnace exhaust gets a natural gas smell outside. the furnace gives code 33, and blower motor runs until i reset furnace it was installed 97
i replaced cleaned cleaned intake and exhaust pipe thermostat air filter replaced burned out draft inducer last yr replaced flame sensor and flame ign. payne furnace model #490aav036060 |
not getting enough air flow across the HX .dirty coil. closed off vents , not enough return air

all vents open air comes out

Is this 1 of the small limits that you reset by pushing a small button. If so it's a roll out limit & you need to have the H X or vent system checked

yes it is one of the small ones u push in did and over heated ? could u be limit switch on fire wall

Your secondary heat exchanger is plugged up.
