Payne Airconditioner

I need a new a/c unit and was quoted on a Payne system. Does anyone have any experience with this brand?

Payne is Carrier's builder grade. Not in the top 5, but like most all equipment, if installed correctly will give good service and life.

Just make sure that the contractor is not reporting it as a "premium" grade unit. That is a trick that is used sometimes. Makes the HO think it is some special brand since they have never heard of it.

Good luck.
