Owners Manual
What site can I go to download the Owners and Installation Manuals (both) for a Ruud UGFD 12 ERCM upflow furnace. I seem to have misplaced them or did not get them from the contractor.

www.rudd.com or www.rheem.com
If rheem, it will be the RGFD12ERCM. If not on line, call them and have tech support email in pdf. |

I went to the www.ruud site and then I cant seem to find where to go on their site to download installation manuals.

Owners Manual
While your on the subject... are manuals, spec sheets, kind of generic or are the specific to each model?
The model plates to my units were removed for some reason. They were put on the house in 1978 when it was built. They are both 4-burner units. It would make life for me a lot easier if I had some general idea of a model number so I could order parts. One of my units is giving me some trouble. Right now it just came on again but it took two hours and generally I can't depend on it to start without resetting the breaker in the unit. I just replaced the spark igniter. Thanks for your reply. |

In the particular case of the manual requested by Manual, it is a comprehensive compilation of installation/operation topics, and includes the subjects covered in the 'owner's manual'. The manual, which is 84 pages, covers all sizes and configurations of the 'non-communicating' modulating furnace. Others may not be as comprehensive. V |
