Over heated house

Don Hamilton Newbie   Join Date: Oct 2011 Posts: 1	Over heated house Why does my Burnham oil fired boiler that heats hot water for domestic use and to circulate thru baseboard raditors to heat the house cause the house to be kept at a higher temperature than the programable thermostat is set for?

beenthere An old Tradesmen   Join Date: Oct 2008 Location: PA Posts: 18,666	Over heated house Could be that the thermostat is bad, o hat a flow control valve(flow check) is leaking through.
