Outdoor unit missing the motor and fan

Hello everyone!

I just bought and moved into a previously bank owned home. Ive noticed the unit in the backyard is missing the blades and the motor and was wondering if this is something I can install myself or if I would need to call a tech to come and do it. Here are two pictures:

I assume it was the previous owners who took it out of spite (foreclosed house). Any and all comments/suggestions welcome! Thanks everyone!

It might be hard for a homewowner to buy it since you'll likely need the oem unit with the guard and mounting arrangements. (the distributer might not be to keen to sell direct to a homeowner).

Once you have the unit installation is pretty easy.

I'd just be concerned what else the previous owner did. (ie like an ice pick thru the coils)

You might want to get a tech to do it. Labor shouldn't be too much for just the fan replacement and I'd probably want the entire system evaluated.

put up the model of the condenser and the brand, the unit tag should give at least the volts and HP and amps on the missing motor, and try this site to dig up motors and blades.looks like a Trane unit lets hear back http://www.bestbuyheatingandaircondi....com/index.htm
