outdoor blower motor

I have just installed a new blower motor on a condenser unit. after the installation the motor ran but not too full speed and then quit after 10 or 15 minutes of running. Is it possible the reason this is happening is because I have the line wires crossed? please help

Did you also install a new capacitor?

Are you sure its spinning in the right direction.

Is it the same RPM, and amp rating as the old motor.

Yes I think it's the wiring cause I went from three wire to four wire. I didn't put in a new cap. but I think that's where I went wrong

As long as the cap wires are each on different terminals of the cap, thats right. Then the other 2 wires go to a load terminal of the contactor.
