I'm having my roof redone. However, before doing that, I want to install a bath vent in the ceiling of my bath. My problem is that the nicely finished underside of my 2 inch thick tongue and grove boards is my ceiling and the top is my roof. There is no room to install a traditonl vent fan or ducting. I need somekind of vent that has the motor outside on a flat roof. I also need to figure out how to get wiring to the vent motor. Does anyone out there know of a vent fan that will fit my needs. Everything I have found assumes wood frame construction. Oh I'm having 1 1/2 think instulation installed over the top of the roof so the vent will have to accomdate that as well. The bath is 64 ft sq. I can't vent horizontally to the bedroom or closet nor out the window/mirrow wall nor through my outer stone block wall either. HELP!
