Older fire place and flues

Hello all, I'm not even sure if I'm in the right room or not. I want to put a flue liner in a older fire place. I need to find out what size liner I need to put in the old brick chimney. Top cap is 8" X 13" clay and this is also getting bad. Home was built in 1941. I have asked local fire place folks and they do not have any idea what size flue liner I would need to get nor are any help at all. If I'm in the wrong room please let me know. Thanks for your time and help. Alex2000

Hi and welcome to the forum.

I moved your questions here to the HVAC section.
You'll likely get help faster here.
