I have 3 zone valves for my house. After much money and time I have found that two of the 3 zones are shot. The zones have 2 wires coming in and they magnetically pull up the shaft in the joint. Problem I can't find any to replace. Any suggestions.
too bad you didnt post the problem before paying someone to figure it out. zone valves are simple to figure out. anyways, this wont be that hard of a fix. you will probably have to run new wiring from the thermostats to the new zone valves, transformers, and aquastat. hardest part will be running the new wiring from the t-stats.
My problem is finding replacement valves. They are the old round looking valve with magnet in middle that pulls up the shaft with the codder pin at the top with 2 wires. No name on valves. Ever heard of that.
you are probably not going to find replacement valves. just buy new valves.
