old pioneer gas wall heater

I am missing the burner compartment cover for an old pioneer gas wall heater. It is a piece of metal with directions for lighting the pilot light.
1. does anyone stock old parts
2. is it a fire hazard not to have one?
3. any suggestions where to get one?
