old oil furnace

The oil furnace at my house isn't working properly and the repairman won't be able to make it out until tomorrow. Is there anything I can do to try and make it work? The red indicator light is on and so I push the reset button. The furnace kicks on like it is supposed to and I can see the flames. It runs for a minute and then, the first time, it just shut off and the light came on. I tried it again at a later time and after running for a minute, the flame stops and the indicator light comes on again and then the blower blows a little air out and then it quits. Does anyone know what it's doing?

Sounds like you're out of oil.
